For Jeff's 18th b-day (my brother), Granny Jo took us all out to Aripine--just 15 minutes from Snowflake, and we stoked a fire, cooked the tinfoil dinners under the coals, and roasted marshmellows. Grandmother brought some tastey hot chocolate, too! YUMMMY to my TUMMY! The kids rode on the zip-line and took turns swinging on the large tree-rope. We didn't go unscathed, however. Amber took a tumble off the zip-line, and Cody grabbed a cactus. Sterling was pretty fussy, too. Still, all in all, we all had a good time. Nothing's ever perfect, right?? I was glad that my kids got a taste of the outdoors, though. We all STILL smell like campfire! Too fun :-).
