ARIZONA's PERFECT MOMENTS

The Johnston gang headed to the park for a great game of frisby-golf--except we didn't have a frisby---so we played with a plastic ball! The Johnston family needs very little to be thouroughly entertained.

Hangin' out with our favorite people

The Johnston crew truly made the 18 hour trip (from Topeka Kansas) worth it!! (AS DID OUR OTHER FAMILIES and FRIENDS :-) We are so fortunate to have such a tight family. We love you all.

The Johnston get-together good-times...

The cousins love playing with their Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Kendra. Can't wait to see them again!

SIZE DOES MATTER!!

My brothers are always trying to out-height each other. BUT, there's just no comparison when Hunter decides to enter the pic--standing 6'5" tall :-).

MORE, and MOORE MEN! :-)

Kyle, Nate, Ernie, and Hunter--love spending valuable family time together. We were all able to be with the Moore family for nearly a week---YEAH!!

Coy, Tanya, and the Hunt MAN!

Hunter drove the gang down to Mesa, AZ, where we met up with the whole Johnston clan for a Christmas Eve party. We always cherish time with the family.

Horsin' around :-)

Amber was so excited to ride on her own. She confidentally took off and rode for a good half an hour. Suddenly, her horse decided to take off with out her, though. I hadn't run THAT fast in awhile! Once I got to her, and checked her over; fearing for broken bones--she realized she was alright, turned around and got right back on the horse. Amber's one tough kid! I was really proud of her.

Christmas with the FAM!

We celebrated Christmas morning a day early in Snowflake, AZ--just so we could hit the rest of the family in the valley the following two days. Presents and more presents! The kids just couldn't get enough.

Horseback HEAVEN!

Mariah and Michayla rode as long as we would allow them. The chilling weather let up just enough in Snowflake, AZ, for these cousins to play the "cowboy way."

Playtime in the Mountains

Travis (my brother), Ashley Palmer (one of my favorite dance students ever :-)) and the girls held on tight to their tubes as they crashed at the base of the mountain. Regardless of the snowy crash at the end, these four always finished smiling!

Amber Goose loves the adventure!

There's nothin' like flying down a hill--completely out of control--leaving your fate to the slopes ahead of you!! Amber thrives on these kind of adventures :-).

Intertubin' Snow days

Intertubing at Sunrise in AZ is always fun. Granny Jo (in the pic), my younger sister, Natalie, and my two kiddos, Amber and Cody---held tight to each other as they skid down the side of the mountain. Pretty exhilerating!

Jeffery and Hunter

We were thrilled to drive into Snowflake for the Christmas holiday! Jefferey (Julie's brother) was one of the first to greet us. Jeff--along with many of Julie's other brothers, played ping-pong, WEI, Rook, ROOSK (a modified Rook game), Scrabble, Chess, and many other games with us. Jeff and Travis (another one of Julie's brothers) spent hours story-playing with Julie for her book and creating music. Choice moments!

Cody and Daddy--BEST BUDS!

Whenever Hunter gets down on the floor, Cody believes it's his job is to jump on Hunter's back! Regardless of Hunter's original task--Cody wants to be the reason for playin'. These two are the best of buds :-).
