So, the Hunt-man didn't pass. Bummer!! We've finally recovered from a week of shock, and we're ready to move forward again. We have lots of different options. We're not certain, yet, which road to take, but we're leaning toward moving to Snowflake to stay with family while Hunter prepares to take the CA Bar one more time in July. Rent is so exorbitant here that it seems ludicrous to stick around and drown in debt. So, we're aiming to be up and out of CA come June 26th. It's not concrete, yet, but it feels right. Who knows what will come next for our family. We're doing everything God's commanded us to do, so were sure it will all work out :-). We had my Grandmother, Mother, and sister here with us last Friday when the results came in. Poor Hunter was traumatized when it all went down, but he's going to take a week out with the boys, camping in Minnesota and Canada this next week. When he gets back, we're going to go crazy packing. Wish us luck.

I'm so sorry! That is crazy!!!! Good luck on your move to Snowflake! You are in our prayers!!!!
I am so sorry. You know, this may just be a blessing in disguise - it'll all work out, when you're doing what's right, it usually does :)
That's what I was thinking: a blessing in disguise. You are wonderful and we all love you so much.
Julie,
Sorry to hear that Hunter didn't pass. It is so awesome how upbeat you are about it. I am sure there is something in store and eventually you will look back and understand why. Good luck with the move.

There's nothing like a trip out into nature to put things into perspective. I've heard that the CA bar exam is a booger of an exam and we had some friends who took it at least twice before passing. Good luck for the next time and keep doing what you feel to be the right thing. That's what we did when we went to law school and with other things preceding that experience. Chris still doesn't have a law job but we don't doubt for a minute that our choice was to go to law school was the wrong one. Good luck with everything!
I'm so sorry Julie and Hunter. I know he tried so hard. I hear that is just a horrible test. Maybe it is a blessing and a way to get you closer to family in the end. Good luck.
Jules, I know everything will work out for you guys! Your kids will have a blast in AZ for the summer! Talk to you soon!

Sorry that last comment was really from me, Julie!
Love you all so much. Your smart, talented people and you will figure it out! Hoping for the best for you all. Love Merky
Sorry I sometimes forget I am under Eric's account. Love ya, Merky.
