Mariah was so excited to have her first "friend" slumber party. She was allowed to invite two friends from school-and Michayla. We went to McDonalds and then to see National Treasure 2. The girls were thrilled to get bed-time ice cream--and then stayed up gabbing and giggling until 5 am! I felt so old--having to get up and tell the kids to GO TO BED--at least 5 times! They had made breakfast menus for all of us and were playing with their "texters"--batttery operated texting machines--alot like walkie-talkies--pretty cool! LOTS OF FUN! WE all had to get extra sleep the next night, though!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIAH!!!
You are so lucky to have the fun mom you do! Texters, huh? pretty fun. . .
1856ers would be singing their hearts out for you . . . and many more!
Love you and your family!! The Heywoods
Happy Birthday Mariah! I thought you just turned 8,oh wait that was a year ago! I sure miss all of you guys. And aren't slumber parties the best?!
I couldn't believe it--TEXTERS! AND--they have a long enough range that the girls can text each other in there own homes! Pretty fun! However--we're heading to complete isolation...never neading to communicate in person. It's certainly easier--just not as healthy :-). We'll have to see if it becomes a problem, but it's a lot of fun for now.
Sounds like everyone had a blast! Happy (late) birthday to Mariah!
