Pine Wood Derby--Hunter's the Man!

Hunter and Kim Blair headed up the Pine Wood Derby event for the cub scouts tonight. Hunter had engineered a computerized competition chart which he displayed on our flat-screen TV for everyone to see. He took hours to set everything up and made the night wonderful for everyone. KUDOS to Hunter!! HE's the MAN!

Pillow Fight Fun

Cody was happy to hit everyone with pillows. Are we encouraging violence? I guess so :-)!

The kids all ganged up on Hunter after our Family Home Evening this week. Everyone pile on Dad!

Singin' in the Rain!

These kids were allowed to play in the rain and jump in the puddles yesterday. They all switched umbrellas at least two times before they came back inside. Ucky weather can be a lot of fun!

Mariah's 9th Birthday

Mariah was so excited to have her first "friend" slumber party. She was allowed to invite two friends from school-and Michayla. We went to McDonalds and then to see National Treasure 2. The girls were thrilled to get bed-time ice cream--and then stayed up gabbing and giggling until 5 am! I felt so old--having to get up and tell the kids to GO TO BED--at least 5 times! They had made breakfast menus for all of us and were playing with their "texters"--batttery operated texting machines--alot like walkie-talkies--pretty cool! LOTS OF FUN! WE all had to get extra sleep the next night, though!

Star Wars Pals!

Blakester and Cody love to play swords--pretending to be Star Wars heros. Theses two are really creative. They act just like siblings! I'm really grateful Cody has Blakester here while Hunter finishes Law School.

Joy School Dress Up

We were focussing on the letter Q in Joy School today. We made the girls Queen Crown, and--of course, the boys wanted crowns, too!! Once their crowns were made, they wanted to dress up as princesses and super heros. Thus, the FUN!!
