Mariah's 9th Birthday

Mariah was so excited to have her first "friend" slumber party. She was allowed to invite two friends from school-and Michayla. We went to McDonalds and then to see National Treasure 2. The girls were thrilled to get bed-time ice cream--and then stayed up gabbing and giggling until 5 am! I felt so old--having to get up and tell the kids to GO TO BED--at least 5 times! They had made breakfast menus for all of us and were playing with their "texters"--batttery operated texting machines--alot like walkie-talkies--pretty cool! LOTS OF FUN! WE all had to get extra sleep the next night, though!

Star Wars Pals!

Blakester and Cody love to play swords--pretending to be Star Wars heros. Theses two are really creative. They act just like siblings! I'm really grateful Cody has Blakester here while Hunter finishes Law School.

Joy School Dress Up

We were focussing on the letter Q in Joy School today. We made the girls Queen Crown, and--of course, the boys wanted crowns, too!! Once their crowns were made, they wanted to dress up as princesses and super heros. Thus, the FUN!!

Jeff, Jules, Granny Jo, and Troy Boy

This last Friday night, Hunter watched the kiddos while Mom, Jeff, and I took off for Kansas City to watch a full night of great raquetball. We took Troy out to eat after his games. We gabbed about BYU single life. It made me want to go back to college! Truth is--once I finally get my degree from MCC-I'm hoping to transfer to a top-dog school. I've been "MOM" this whole time and I would love the opportunity to finally finish my degrees!! In time, right? :-)

Basketball Amber :-)

Hunter, Jeff, and Troy took some time to teach the girls some basketball techniques. Amber and Mariah ATE IT UP!! Mariah is begging us to put her in City Basketball League next year.

Uncle Jeff and Uncle Troy--Court time!

Granny Jo, Natatalie and Jeff stayed with our family for their spring break. They took us back and forth from Kansas City to Topeka--so we could watch Troy Boy in his National Raquetball Tournament--playing for BYU. We screamed and hit the glass every time Troy scored points.

Lunchtime in Kansas City

We all went to see Troy's National Raquetball tournament in Kansas City. With our large group--we ate most of the time :-). The kids actually made it through the whole day--without any crisis! They loved watching their uncle Troy as much as the adults did!

Indian Amber

The girls were thrilled to get to make necklaces and headbands with complimentary packages of feathers, beads and plastic bands. This was a really ingenious craft.

Jules and Granny Jo--Art Museum KS

Granny Jo's visits are always are favorite times of the year!! She, Natalie, and Jeff came to play with us for a whole week! We spent everyday gabbing and laughing. Good times!

Trip to the Washburn Art Lab for Kids

Cody has HAIR now!! Hunter allowed Cody to grow his hair out! It's deffinitely my favorite--I love his curls! Cody loved the Washburn Art Lab for kids.

We took this pic during spring break last week. It was fabulous having Daddy home for a WHOLE WEEK! We went to the park, the mall, the library, bike riding---AND they all made pine wood derbys together. WHAT A BLAST!! Cody will turn 4 years old on March 25!

Dress UP FUN!

This is Amber (Annaleese from Princess and the Pauper) and Michayla (Witch Woman)! These girls play so well together. We love living close to Brent and Michele's family--the kids play together almost everyday! It's fun to see how many outfits these kids come up with.

Mall-time in Topeka, KS

The cousins played follow the leader and space-ship rocket blasters for a short hour. They were sad when we had to leave. Cody and Blakester are in a Star Wars phase--so everything we watch and do and talk about involves space. It's fun to try to think like 4 year olds!!

Huntman and Jules--March 2008

We took the kids to the mall for some playtime with their cousins for the first day of spring break. We love getting out of the house! We also enjoyed dinner with the Johnston family and celebrated Michelle's b-day--good times!! Then-we spent the rest of the day painting the doors and trim in our upstairs. AGH! Exhausting!! We have been together for 10 years now--can you believe it??!
